This past October I had the wonderful privilege of working with the lovely Rachel Liu-Ballard for her one on one mentoring session in her charming Madison, Connecticut home. She brewed up the best tasting chai I have ever had, and we spent the afternoon talking about her vision for her photography business, branding, pricing, her website, and all things in between! I love working with other photographers and helping them step into the next season! Sometimes what our businesses need the most in an outside perspective to see what we sometimes can’t- I know it’s been crucial for my own photography business countless times!

Following her mentoring session, we photographed both a head shot session for her to use throughout her brand, and also a family portrait session- as being a photographer herself, a full family portrait that she was in was not a common capture. I wanted to share just a few of my favorite family portraits that we photographed near her home that evening here today!
