I held my camera up time and time again asking myself, how could I truly share what I saw in front of me last night.

How could I adequately create a photograph that really tells it right.

For now, and for then.

A story filled with years and years of waiting, hoping, and trusting that she too would be a mother. 5 years ago…That’s when she booked this session with me.

I felt as unqualified then as I did tonight, wanting each frame to show something much deeper.

More than the celebration that it is- a promise fulfilled.

What an honor to photograph this maternity session in Madison, Connecticut this past weekend to celebrate the winter arrival of twins for this beautiful mama. I absolutely cannot wait to receive the black and white films scans from our session at the beach last night!
