Fourth of July weekend is always the height of the tourist season here in Maine. Families vacation on our beautiful coast from all over, as the weather is finally warm enough for the beach! Everywhere you go hangs signs for the best lobster roll in town, freshly baked blueberry pies, and local pints of strawberry stands by the side of the road. This year I had the privilege of connecting with many families during their stay, photographing sessions from the coast of Camden to Kennebunkport.

Next week I will be headed to one of my absolute favorite places in all the world, Swan’s Island, and spending a week with family- hiking, boat adventures, and slow sipping coffee on the porch with the sound of ocean waves. I can’t wait!
