I am so excited to share more of my favorite images from The Fount Workshop here on the blog today! Our incredibly talented Hair & Makeup artist Molly Stilley, co-founder of the Irrelephant Blog, not only did hair and makeup for every shoot we created at the workshop, but as she was also expecting, she modeled for both an indoor and outdoor maternity shoot for our attendees! I only took a few myself, but I wanted to share some of my favorite black and white film images from those shoots here on the blog today.

I don’t know if I could choose what I love more- photographing a maternity session indoors, or outside in the beautiful sunset light. Like any in-home portrait session, there’s this irreplaceable intimacy that happens, and I feel as though the photographs created are so meaningful in this deeply personal way to my clients. But I also love photographing portrait sessions outside, just as the sun is going down, and giving off this perfect soft light-especially here on the coast of Maine- Gah! It’s so dreamy!

Both of Molly’s outfits in these shoots are from Free People, and she of course styled her own hair and makeup for each shoot.
