I first came across Sarah Wells Bags from a client of mine, Connecticut fashion blogger Lauren McBride. Although I have not yet had the experience of having my own newborn and needing to pump when away from home or at work- so many of my clients and the amazing mothers I have met over the past year have. And their commitment to pumping throughout their work day when necessary is so admirable!!

Sarah Wells created her breast pump bag line from her experience of having to carry her purse, often laptop and iPad, AND a not so stylish breast pump bag to work with her everyday. Her solution? Deciding she needed both a stylish and functional alternative. She offers many styles, but this one caught my eye right away. It’s a normal tote bag with a perfectly sized side compartment that zips completely open for storage of the pump- which can stay right in the pocket during use! The opposite side compartment acts as a cooler for milk bottles, and then the top of the tote offers an entire top zippered compartment to use for all the other things a working mama on the go needs in place of a purse- all while staying discreet and fashionable while carrying it back and forth.
