She was one of the very first people to be in front of my camera. I shyly asked her to “model” for me when I had absolutely no idea what I was doing so I could practice. She believed in me to pursue photography and got after me to start a business.

Believing in me when I didn’t. She was one to never call dreaming foolish.

It was years ago now. There aren’t words to describe the influence and friendship this family has given me over the more than a decade I have known them. And now she’s a mama to one of the brightest little ones I know, who’s about to turn two years old, and we had the most beautiful session on the ocean of Kennebunkport, Maine to celebrate. I can’t wait to share more of these soon!
