I spent the past few days in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to photograph a beautiful family maternity session, and to meet a local photographer for her 1:1 mentoring session! It was a wonderful time, and I am so looking forward to sharing more from both! For the maternity session, we were photographing in between thundering rain storms, which can be really stressful- but also provide such beautiful clouded light! If you have been following my work for a time now, you know that my preference is never the really warm, sun drenched portraits, but the strong, classic black and white images. I believe that they are so timeless and will still be well appreciated and loved in years and years to come.

I also took a couple rolls of film that I am going to send off this morning, and can’t wait to share a full blog post of this session when they return!
