Yesterday I drove down to Rye, New York to photograph this beautiful family and their little girl on the beach. This is definitely a favorite image, as little B is just learning to stand and was so proud of herself as she proudly clung to her Daddy’s hands and her little feet dug their way into the sand. She was like photographing a beautiful porcelain doll, this take your breath away kind of adorable.

I just love this time of year and look forward all winter long to the months where I can meet families and expecting mothers on the beach for their portrait collection. Although the beaches here in Connecticut and New York have been wonderful, I am so looking forward to being local to Portland Maine and having access to all of the beautiful Maine beaches!
