I am SO beyond thrilled to share one of my favorite maternity works here on the blog today! This collection was published on Fount today, so make sure you head on over and leave some comment love!

Kristyn is expecting her first baby, and her happiness is positively radiant. We met at the shore in Milford, Connecticut for an early morning session a couple weekends ago. The beach was still quiet, the sun warm, and we did all of this before her baby shower that afternoon! She wanted to take advantage of the professional hair and makeup for our session (by the talented Simply Gorgeous by Erin), and enjoy looking fantastic for her celebration! She pulled out her neutral colored dresses, and cream cable knit blanket when we arrived and when I saw her sheer lace dress from Free People for a more intimate feel, I think I lost all sense of professionalism and absolutely squealed. It was so perfect.

I really also loved that we took the time to slow down and capture her portraits outside of her expecting belly. That we photographed her face and how it was glowing with this maternal beauty and anticipation. I love the secret of these particular portraits. She will be able to pull them out years from now, and show them to her children and her children’s children, and tell the story of becoming a mother for the very first time.
