Over Memorial weekend I made the trip up to Yarmouth, Maine where I will be moving this fall. I stayed with my good friends who took their weekend to tour me around to the best spots in the area! We took one night to visit a beach in Saco, and we decided to take a few portraits while we were there. I am SO excited that it is finally warm enough to be photographing the sunset hour at the beach! No one appreciates summer like us here in New England, am I right?!

Photographing Matt and Cassie ( and now little Sadie! ) is always such a heart explosion for me. Cassie was the first person to ever “model” for me when I first decided to become a photographer. The first to tell me to charge people for my work, and has since supported me every step of the way. From posing in the field with vintage props, to modeling for my holiday cards back in the day- she never let me down as I grew and learned my style- which is now so different than when I started!

I can’t express how much I look forward to having these guys as close by neighbors. God is just so good like that! Cassie works in real estate as an associate broker for the Tru Brit Group at Keller Williams Realty, and specializes in working with buyers so if you are looking to buy a home in the Greater Portland area she is your girl!

Here are a few favorites from our night at the beach. I took a roll of film on my Hasselblad and I can’t wait to see how they came out! I also fell in LOVE with her baby blanker from Brahms Mount in Freeport. And just for the record, little Sadie IS this happy and her eyes ARE that amazing!  I die.
