Earlier this year I made the official announcement that I was moving from New Haven, Connecticut to Bar Harbor, Maine.  Although I still adore the area and will be photographing there often, with my frequent country-wide travel to clients, not to mention my wanting to be readily available throughout New England- I made the decision to call Portland, Maine home instead.  As part of my original announcement, I hosted a big giveaway where a lucky family in the Bar Harbor area could win a portrait session with me. A couple weekends ago I was able to honor that and met the most wonderful mother and daughter due who won.

We met at Seawall in Southwest Harbor on the most gorgeous overcast evening. One of my favorite photographs of my family growing up was actually also taken on Seawall if you can believe it. It’s a gem of a location, and a must see on your Acadia vacation for sure.
