Photographing pregnancy is such a favorite passion of mine. I adore this portrait not only for her breathtaking beauty, but because in 25 years she can share it with her children and let them in on the secret that she was indeed expecting when this photograph was taken.

She can look him in the eye and squeeze his hand and say, “I was carrying you here, can you see the happiness in my eyes? You made me a mama.”

Maternity portraiture is so much more than the belly. It is motherhood at the very beginning, and it such an honor to create art for the start of this life changing journey. This pregnancy collection blew my mind and I cannot wait to share it in full.
