I could not feel more honored to share this Newborn Portrait Collection with you all today! This past fall I received an email from the incredibly talented photographer herself, Sharon Elizabeth, asking the possibility of flying me down to Virginia to photograph their soon to be expected baby girl. I knew after the very first email conversation that we would be the perfect fit, and I am so grateful that I had this opportunity, which may not have happened without the connection of our good friends Justin & Mary!
If you follow Sharon on her blog, you may know her story in becoming a mother, and that the road was not the easiest one. If there is an example of a woman of strength in the face of the most difficult of upward climbs, she is it. I sat on her mother’s couch the morning of the session, re-reading her story and praying that not only would these newborn portraits come out as beautiful as we both hoped, but more so that each and every image would be a testimony of God’s faithfulness and continue to provide healing and restoration in their story.
Babies truly are the miracles of all miracles.
Here are a few of my favorites from her Newborn Connection Portrait Session.
